James rated this product on 10/10/19 The Excel 3-wood I ordered has arrived and was used extensively. It's awesome and I've had great results with it. I have been using the Excel 5-wood for several years and decided to try the 3-wood. Love it. It adds 15-20 yards of distance (over the 5-wood) with the roll-out that it gets. I do not use a driver at all 'cause I can't hit it and won't ever go back. I now use the 3-wood off the turf for all drives and hit it twice on par 5's. The extra 15-20 yards changes the approach club to a 7/9/PW Excel hybrid (instead of a 5 hybrid). It literally trims 3-4 strokes off 9 hole score 'cause I hit the green/fringe much of the time now. Completely satisfied

James rated this product on 09/29/19 Now have both the 3-wood and 5-wood. Both senior shaft and both have really helped my scoring. I get about 15 yards more with the 3-wood due to a nice roll out. Lower trajectory and hit the fairway and watch it roll. Won't ever go back to a driver.

James rated this product on 09/21/19 I can't hit a driver and this 5-wood I can hit off the tee or fairway with good results. I never use a tee, I just drop it on the turf and hit it. Generally with my swing type I get 175-190 yards. The impact sound is nice and I'm in the fairway most of the time. I have a steep swing plan and some of the time there is a 10-15 yard slice shape. I never get a draw shape with my swing. I sometimes use it 3 times in a row on a par 5. There's nothing wrong with this club. Have now ordered the 3-wood just for fun. With my steep swing, the lower loft on the 3-wood might be a battle.

Harry said the following about this product on 05/26/16 I already had the Excel irons, and decided to add the Excel 5 wood. Wow is this a good wood. I hit it straight and longer than I expected. Several time I was 200 yards away from the green and hit the 5 wood, and it flew 195 yards straight. I like it so much I bought the 3 wood. I just received it and went to the driving rang and was not disapointed. It went far and straight. I even hit it further than my driver off of the tee. Great club.
